Launch Ceremony | Incubator Scheme | Organisers | 中文
How can we, as city dwellers, co-govern urban resources and co-design everyday living experience among ourselves? In the face of economic insecurity and environmental crisis, the practices of urban commons have been on a rise around the world to foster community connection and sharing, create more people-friendly spaces, and encourage eco-friendly lifestyles. Drawing from local initiatives and international examples such as iCOOP Korea, this discussion will look at how our city can be reimagined as commons.
The talk will be followed by a briefing and recruitment session of the Urban Commons Incubator Scheme, a series of workshops that provide theoretical, creative, and social entrepreneurship training for inspired youngsters to establish their own urban commons projects.
All Lingnan staff and students are welcomed.
